What Are Dental Veneers?
Premium porcelain shells for a perfect smile
Ultra-Thin Design
Veneers are wafer-thin shells (typically 0.5-0.7mm) custom-made to fit your teeth perfectly. This minimal thickness preserves as much of your natural tooth as possible.
Custom Color Matching
Each veneer is crafted with custom shade matching to blend seamlessly with your adjacent teeth or create the exact shade you desire for your entire smile.
Premium Porcelain
We work with trusted dental labs to create veneers from high-quality porcelain that closely mimics natural tooth translucency and appearance.
Durable & Long-Lasting
With proper care, porcelain veneers can last 10-15 years or longer, making them an excellent long-term cosmetic investment.
What Can Veneers Fix?
Veneers are incredibly versatile and can address many cosmetic concerns, either individually or as part of a comprehensive smile makeover.
Discolored Teeth
Severely stained or yellowed teeth that don't respond to whitening can be covered with beautifully colored veneers.
Chipped or Broken Teeth
Restore a natural appearance to teeth damaged by accidents or wear with custom veneers that match closely.
Gaps Between Teeth
Close unwanted spaces between teeth without braces or aligners by creating wider veneers that span the gap.
Misaligned Teeth
Minor bite or alignment issues can be cosmetically corrected with veneers, creating the illusion of straighter teeth.
Worn or Irregular Teeth
Reshape teeth that have worn unevenly or have irregular edges and surfaces.
Short Teeth
Make teeth appear longer and more proportionate to your smile with veneers of the ideal length and shape.

The Veneer Process
Getting veneers typically requires two to three visits to our office. Here's what to expect:
Consultation & Planning
During your first visit, we'll discuss your cosmetic goals and evaluate your smile. We'll assess your tooth structure, gum health, and bite to determine if veneers are the right option. We'll also show you a preview of what your smile could look like.
Tooth Preparation
For traditional veneers, we remove a small amount of enamel from the front of your tooth to make room for the veneer. For no-prep veneers, little to no tooth structure is removed. We then take precise impressions or digital scans of your teeth.
Temporary Veneers
If your teeth were prepared, we place temporary veneers to protect them while your custom veneers are being made at the lab. This process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
Veneer Placement
Once your custom veneers are ready, we remove the temporary veneers and carefully place your new ones. We check the fit, bite, and appearance, making adjustments as needed. Once everything is perfect, we bond them permanently to your teeth.
Follow-Up Care
We'll provide detailed care instructions to ensure your veneers last as long as possible. Most veneers require no special aftercare beyond maintaining excellent oral hygiene.
Why Choose Veneers?
Veneers offer numerous advantages for cosmetic smile improvement:
Natural Appearance
Porcelain veneers are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth when crafted by skilled professionals.
Stain Resistant
Porcelain resists staining from coffee, wine, and other pigmented foods and drinks.
Versatile Solution
Veneers can address multiple cosmetic concerns simultaneously, including color, shape, and size.
Long-Lasting
With proper care, veneers last 10-15 years, making them a worthwhile investment in your smile.
Minimal Prep
Ultra-thin options preserve more of your natural tooth structure compared to crowns.
Quick Results
Your smile transformation takes just 2-3 visits, compared to months with braces or aligners.
Caring for Your Veneers
Veneers are durable, but proper care helps them last longer and maintain their beautiful appearance:
Daily Care
- Brush your teeth twice daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush
- Floss daily, being gentle around the veneer edges
- Use a non-abrasive, fluoride-containing toothpaste
- Avoid grinding or clenching your teeth (wear a nightguard if needed)
Habits to Avoid
- Avoid using your teeth to open packages or bite nails
- Don't chew on hard objects like ice, hard candy, or pens
- Limit consumption of extremely hot or cold foods
- Avoid grinding your teeth (consider a protective nightguard)
- Be cautious with sticky foods that might dislodge a veneer
Professional Care
- Visit us for professional cleanings every six months
- Maintain regular dental checkups
- Avoid abrasive cleaning tools during professional cleanings
- Report any chipping or damage immediately
